Rogo is difficult to replace with one product because it spans research, financial data, and finished banking materials. Keep Rogo when the core requirement is reproducing its exact banker templates and review process. Consider AllMind when the team wants licensed institutional data and firm data connected to recurring investment research and cited deliverables, Blueflame AI for Datasite-centered deal work, AlphaSense when its exact content package is decisive, or Capital IQ Pro for its specific private-company, transaction, and Office workflow.

Disclosure and access: This documented comparison uses public product pages and documentation reviewed on August 30, 2026. Our team did not have access to every platform, so no shared test result or universal ranking is claimed. We build AllMind, one of the products discussed, and we hold our own capabilities and limitations to the same sourcing standard. No vendor paid to be included.

Start with the artifact your team must deliver

The useful question is not which platform has the longest feature list. It is which system owns the hardest step between raw material and an approved output. Rogo's current public positioning is unusually clear on that point. Its Felix page names decks, spreadsheets, and reports, including work such as spreading comps, updating backup materials, and drafting memos. Its broader product page also lists firm-specific workflows, an AI table interface, proprietary-document analysis, and integrations with financial-data providers.

This table is a routing aid, not a performance result. Each row describes published product scope. It does not establish output quality, speed, or accuracy under common conditions.

Rogo is still the reference point for banker-shaped output

Rogo should remain on the shortlist when a bank wants its house process encoded into a finance-specific system. The public product describes predefined tasks such as an earnings comp analysis, public-company profile, sponsor overview, news run, and deck proofreading. Felix extends that position from question answering to delegated work delivered through decks, spreadsheets, and reports.

That matters because a bank's output constraint is often formatting and iteration, not document discovery. An acceptable first draft may still fail if the sources, backup pages, footnotes, slide grammar, or Excel links do not follow the firm's standard. Rogo also says it supports professionally written prompts, guided implementation, governance controls, and custom-trained models for banking workflows. Those are vendor claims, but they define a focused procurement test.

Rogo's published data-partner list includes LSEG, Dow Jones, FactSet, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Preqin, Quartr, and Daloopa. A buyer should not infer that every dataset is included in one base contract. Ask which licenses the firm must already hold, which content Rogo resells, and whether citations remain available in exported PowerPoint and Excel files.

Rogo is also the incumbent to keep when adoption has already reached templates, permissions, and review procedures. Switching a mature deliverable workflow has a cost even when another product can draft similar prose. Measure that cost through actual revision rounds instead of a feature checkbox.

AllMind fits a coverage process that continues after the deck

AllMind is the strongest first pilot when the recurring asset is a coverage process that must persist between earnings cycles. AllMind licenses 6,800+ premium data sources from 100+ providers and partners, including S&P Global and Capital IQ data, FactSet data such as Revere, LSEG, MSCI, and exchange data such as CME. The corpus also covers estimates, filings, broker research, Expert Insights, and alternative data. The data layer makes that corpus available before proprietary firm sources are connected, the ontology links evidence to companies and related entities, and Grids apply one research question across a list.

That orientation is useful to a public-equity, credit, or research team whose output changes every day. The platform can keep a question attached to a coverage list, cite source material, and carry the result into recurring research with its context intact.

We build Excel models with live formulas for DCF, LBO and comps work, PowerPoint from 20+ investment-bank templates and Word memos, and we edit an XLSX, PPTX or DOCX a team already has. Rogo remains the stronger fit when the product must draft and revise house-format pitchbooks and transaction materials inside a banker-led process it has already encoded. We sell AllMind through a quote, we require onboarding for proprietary firm data, and we do not provide Bloomberg-style market messaging or execution. Do not take AllMind as a proven replacement for Rogo's template fidelity without a common test using a real pitch template, source pack, and comments file.

Blueflame changes the answer when Datasite is the working room

Blueflame is relevant when the documents arrive through a transaction, not a public-company coverage list. Its May 2026 update says its assistant can operate inside Datasite Diligence and Acquire projects, inherit the room's permissions, search content, draft Q&A responses with citations, and flag inconsistencies. Blueflame's Amp launch adds multi-step work such as screening a CIM, preparing diligence questions, and drafting investment-committee materials.

The Blueflame alternatives guide goes deeper on the VDR and Datasite decision. Teams comparing the standardized-data layer can use the separate Capital IQ alternatives guide.

The product also reports a Snowflake connection and broader integrations. That makes Blueflame a credible alternative for a private-equity or private-credit team that wants one deal workspace across the VDR and firm systems. It is not evidence that the product has the same licensed public-markets corpus as a research terminal. Buyers with both private deals and a listed portfolio should test those two workloads separately.

Datasite acquired Blueflame in July 2025, which increases the strategic fit for existing Datasite customers. It also creates a real reason to stay within that stack: room permissions and live document updates are harder to reproduce with a manual export.

AlphaSense and Capital IQ Pro replace different layers

AlphaSense replaces the content-discovery layer. Its current Expert Insights pages combine a large proprietary interview library with bespoke calls, and its platform spans other licensed research content. That is useful when a research question begins with, "What has already been written or said about this company?" It does not remove the need for a financial-data system or a firm-specific deliverable process.

Capital IQ Pro starts from standardized market and company data. S&P Global publishes coverage across public and private companies, estimates, transactions, fixed income, ownership, and Office tools. It also markets ChatIQ, Document Intelligence, and generative transcript summaries. A team that mainly refreshes comps and valuation models may find that this data-plus-Excel system is closer to the job than another generative workspace.

The tradeoff is contract scope. S&P's product page lists many datasets but not one public all-in price. Confirm the exact estimates contributors, private-company depth, real-time data, research entitlements, APIs, and Office features in the quote. A successful data-terminal replacement also requires formula and identifier mapping in existing workbooks.

A procurement test that exposes the real difference

Run one package through every shortlisted product. Use material the team is permitted to share and require the same deliverables:

  1. A current company or target profile with cited source passages.
  2. A comparable-company table with the team's definitions and as-of date.
  3. A five-slide update in the firm's template.
  4. An Excel output whose inputs and formulas can be audited.
  5. A revision round based on an MD's or PM's written comments.
  6. A permission change or late document addition that should flow into the output.

Record human minutes for setup, source checking, formatting, and revisions. Count unsupported claims and broken links. Verify whether exported citations survive, whether proprietary documents respect existing permissions, and whether the system can repeat the task without rebuilding context.

Do not collapse these results into one abstract grade. A product may produce the cleanest deck and still be wrong for daily coverage. Another may retrieve the strongest evidence and still require too much formatting work for a live pitch.

When staying with Rogo is the sensible outcome

Renew Rogo when the highest-value users are bankers or deal professionals, the current implementation reflects real house templates, and exported materials survive review with limited repair. The case becomes stronger when the firm already connects the data providers it needs and the replacement would duplicate those integrations.

Do not move solely because another platform advertises broader research. Broader content only matters if the team regularly leaves Rogo to find missing evidence. Likewise, do not keep Rogo for a public-markets desk if users mostly need scheduled monitoring, cross-company research, and a persistent evidence graph. That is a different operating model.

Rogo does not publish a rate card on its public product or Felix pages. The other enterprise products in this comparison also require a sales quote. Treat unsupported seat estimates as negotiation anecdotes, not list prices. Request a written schedule covering platform fees, users, data entitlements, implementation, usage credits, support, and renewal increases.

What public sources cannot establish

Public pages do not establish which system produces the most accurate model, the closest house-format deck, or the fastest answer on a buyer's own documents. They also do not make contract entitlements comparable. Security badges on marketing pages are not substitutes for current audit reports, subprocessors, retention terms, and an architecture review.

Our own public materials do not prove Rogo-equivalent banking output quality. Rogo's materials do not show that every named data source is included for every customer. AlphaSense and Capital IQ Pro do not publish a universal bundle. Blueflame's strongest documented integration is with Datasite, so cross-VDR behavior should be tested.

Source record for this comparison

This article uses vendor product pages as evidence of published scope, not independent proof of performance. Sources were checked on August 30, 2026. The main records are Rogo's product, Felix, and security pages; Blueflame's Datasite update; AlphaSense's expert research page; and S&P Global's Capital IQ Pro overview. Vendor-reported capabilities should be reproduced in a controlled evaluation before purchase, and our own AllMind claims deserve exactly the same reproduction.

If the open question is research continuity instead of deck production, bring one coverage list, one entitled source set, and one approved output to an AllMind workflow review. The useful outcome may be an AllMind pilot, a narrower Rogo deployment, or a decision to keep the current stack.
